Creature Cover

Seal The Gap, Stop The Nests.

The space between your panels and the roof is warm, dry, shaded, and hidden from predators. To a pigeon or a rat, that is prime real estate. Creature Cover closes it off for good with custom-fit stainless mesh, and no drilling into your roof or panels.

Why It Matters

What Lives Under There Can Cost You.

Once a bird or rodent moves into the gap under your array, the problems stack up quickly. Nests block airflow and trap heat against the panels. Droppings are acidic and corrode the frames and roof surface. And the animals that move in are rarely the ones that do the real damage.

The dangerous part is what the nests attract. A pigeon colony draws rats and mice into the cool shade underneath, and rodents chew. They chew the wiring that runs between your panels, which means lost production at best and a genuine fire risk at worst. What starts as a few birds can end as an electrician's bill and a warranty fight.

There is also the noise and the mess: the cooing at dawn, the streaks down your walls, the debris packed into the gap that then holds water against your roof. Sealing the gap once solves all of it at the source.

What It Keeps Out

The Usual Suspects.

Pigeons, mynahs & zebra doves

The number one cause of panel-deck nesting on Oahu, and the reason the rest of the pests show up.

Rats, mice & mongoose

They chew wiring and build nests in the cool shade under the panels. This is the damage that actually costs you.

Cane toads & geckos

Less destructive on their own, but they draw predators and leave waste that piles up over time.

Leaf & debris buildup

The same barrier that stops animals also stops wind-driven leaves from packing the gap and holding moisture.

How We Install

Custom-Cut, Clip-On, Low-Profile.

We use black powder-coated stainless steel mesh, cut to fit the exact perimeter of your array. It attaches with rubber-grip clips that grab the panel frame, so there is zero drilling into your roof or your panels. That matters, because a screw through your roof deck is a future leak, and a hole in your panel frame can void the warranty.

Air still flows freely through the mesh, so your panels vent and stay cool. The mesh sits low and tight under the panel edge, and from underneath, nothing gets in.

Powder-coated stainless mesh

Rust-proof and built for salt air. It is cut to your array, not a one-size roll draped over the edge.

Zero-drill panel clips

Rubber-grip clips fasten to the frame. No holes in your roof, no holes in your panels, warranty intact.

Low-profile look

Slim black mesh that tucks tight under the panel edge, so it blocks animals without drawing the eye.

Airflow preserved

The mesh blocks animals, not air. Your panels keep venting heat and running at their rated temperature.

The Deal

Done Right, Backed For Years.

Nest & debris removal first

Included, always. We never seal a cover over an active nest or a packed gap. We clear it out and sanitize underneath, then install.

5-year workmanship warranty

If a clip fails or a section loosens within five years, we come back and fix it free. No fine print.

Book an assessment

We measure your array, check for anything already living up there, and quote the mesh. Existing Soltra customers get priority scheduling.

Already a cleaning customer?

If we are cleaning your panels anyway, we can measure and quote Creature Cover in the same visit. No second trip charge.

Good Questions

Before You Book.

Will it damage my panels or roof?
No. The mesh clips onto the panel frame with rubber-grip fasteners. We never drill into your roof deck or your panels, so there are no new holes to leak and nothing that affects your warranty.
Is it ugly? Can you see it from the street?
It is slim black mesh that tucks under the edge of your array, so it stays low-profile. It is far less noticeable than the birds, droppings, and streaks it replaces.
What if there is already a nest under there?
We handle that first. Nest and debris removal plus sanitizing underneath is included in the job. We never install a barrier over an active problem, because that just traps it inside.
Does the mesh trap heat against the panels?
No. It is an open mesh, so air still flows through freely and your panels keep venting heat. It blocks animals and debris, not airflow.
How long does an install take?
Most residential arrays are done in a single visit. We will give you a clear timeframe when we quote, based on the size and layout of your system.

Evict them for good.

Free assessment and quote, no obligation. We will measure your array and tell you exactly what it takes.
